My Academic & Professional Journey
My path to education is built on a foundation of rigorous engineering and pure science. After earning my degree in Shipbuilding Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), I worked as a designer and engineer on dozens of yacht projects until 2016. Driven by a deep passion for fundamental sciences, I then pivoted my career toward academia.
This drive led me to Middle East Technical University (METU), where I completed a double major in Mathematics and Computer Engineering. I am currently continuing my academic journey there as a Ph.D. student in Mathematics.
Since transitioning to education, I have had the privilege of guiding over 100 students in achieving top ranks and maximizing their academic potential. I bring this multifaceted engineering and theoretical perspective into every lesson I teach.
Having served as an executive in corporate firms for many years and founded my own manufacturing and yacht design companies, my mission extends beyond academic success. I strive to mentor my students, equipping them with a broader vision and strategic mindset for their future professional lives. Underlying all my teaching is a deep commitment to cultivating a mindset aligned with positive global values.
Beyond the Desk
Currently based in Ankara, Türkiye, I also believe that a sharp mind requires a balanced life. When I am not tutoring or coding in Python and Java, I immerse myself in the world of social Latin dances, practicing Kizomba and Bachata regularly.
I am an avid reader of philosophy, particularly Stoicism, and hold a deep fascination for ancient history. Whether I am capturing moments through photography or exploring new ideas, I approach life with the same curiosity I bring to mathematics.
